Results of October

Sales of the furniture industry in Bento Gonçalves totaled R$ 212.9 million in October 2011. This figure represents an increase of 9% in the turnover comparing to the same month last year. The first 10 months of 2011 saw a growth of 4% over the same period in 2010 (Inflation accounted).In addition, exports totaled U$6.03 million in October, which has been the best month of the year.Bento Gonçalves accounts for 40% of the turnover in Grande do Sul state and 30% of the exports.
