Orchestra Brazil Project ends year with an increase in export value

17/01/2012

The member companies of the Orchestra Brasil project saw a 2.3% increase in their export value at the end of 2011, in comparison with 2010. The markets that  showed larger growth were Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia. The markets with the biggest losses included North America, Europe and Africa, much influenced by the international economic conditions experienced in 2011. The new project, which will be run in 2012 and 2013, will seek to strengthen the position in countries where companies already have business and position itself more consistently in the fastest growing countries in terms of imports and income, and which have greater facilities in trade relations with Brazil.
