A new format for the Buyer’s Project at Movelsul Brasil 2012

27/02/2012

n 2012, Movelsul Brasil is promoting the largest edition of the Buyer’s Project organized for the Brazilian furniture sector. More than 100 Brazilian companies are registered for the business meetings with importers from various countries, to be held on March 27 and 28. The program also includes technical visits to two companies in the region and a lecture by the coordinator of the Commercial and Competitive Intelligence Unit of Apex-Brasil, Marcos Lellis.

With a new format in this edition of the fair, the initiative will have short meetings held at the stands of exhibitors registered with the project in order to make the negotiations and establishment of partnerships an even more effective process. A team from Sindmóveis will mediate the meetings, ensuring that visitors meet their schedule and taking maximum advantage of the business roundtables.

This is an opportunity for the Brazilian furniture industry to strengthen ties with buyers from at least 15 countries, showing them the quality and competitiveness of the Brazilian furniture. This year the project will focus on the countries of the Americas, as markets traditionally consumers of Brazilian furniture, especially Europe, have reduced their imports. Twenty-four importers have confirmed their participation and the management of the fair aims to reach 30 by the beginning of Movelsul Brasil. The Buyer’s Project is supported by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

Movelsul Brasil will be held from March 26-30, 2012, showing the launches of the main Brazilian manufacturers of furniture for office, kitchen, bedrooms, laundry area and bathrooms, living and dining rooms, upholstery and mattresses, carpets and home appliances. Movelsul Brasil is the largest furniture exhibition in Latin America and the first trade show oriented to the middle class market.
