Sindmóveis has an agenda for Milan

    The Brazilian design will have a strong presence at the Salone Internalzionale del Mobile in Milan, held from April 14 – 19 as Brazil sends the third largest delegation to visit the Italian city in this period. A total of 11 studios that take part in the Orchestra Brasil Project will have products displayed at ISaloni and Fuorisaloni shows: Bernardo Senna, Bold Design, Bruno Jahara, estudiobola, Fahrer Design, Jader Almeida, Quadrante Design, Roque Frizzo, Ronald Scliar Sasson, Tezê and Zanini de Zanine.

    In addition to the participation of designers who are members of the Orchestra Brasil Project in ISaloni and in parallel shows promoted by FuoriSaloni, Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves will conduct a prospective mission in search of partnerships for professionals who take part in the project. Orchestra Brasil is a project organized by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) to promote and enhance the internationalization of the furniture industry suppliers – including design services.

    In Milan, the business agenda of Sindimóveis includes meetings with shopkeepers and furniture companies that demand design service. Currently, the Orchestra Brasil Project’s strategy for exporting design focuses the US market. In the last six months, the project has been investing in studies on the American market and on the development of a collection of products intended for the US consumers and the New York retail sector.

Brazil S/A

    BRAZIL S/A is an exhibition space to establish a relationship between companies and Brazilian professionals working in the innovation and design sectors, as well as architecture, decoration and craftsmanship. In 2015, the 6th edition of the show expects to attract 120,000 visitors to the Università Degli Studi di Milano.

MADE | Mercado, Arte, Design 

    Brazilian talents carefully selected by curator Waldick Jatobá and co-curator Bruno Simões, a designer and an architect. Approximately 30 Brazilian designers will exhibit unique pieces or with limited edition, copyright and new products to the visiting public. The exhibition also includes a collection of 10 benches made by native Brazilians in the beginning of the last century; setting signed by the brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana and a pavilion with temporary architecture signed by architect Marcio Kogan. MADE will be held at the Palazzo Litta – Corso Magenta, 24.

Rio+Design

    Technology and sustainability are the pillars of the seventh Rio+Design show, which will bring together 75 pieces and projects of 40 design offices in Zona Tortona, surrounded by an engaging setting signed by Guto Indio da Costa. Works will include creations of young talents and established professionals, which are developed based on the passion for discovery in a stimulating environment. The public can learn about the creative process that generated each piece through monitors that will display videos showing details and curiosities about the projects, in addition to showing the profile of the creators. Rio+Design will be held at Opificio 31, Via Tortona.
