From July 10 – 13, during ForMóbile, Sindmóveis will once again supervise the business meetings at the Buyer’s Project, through the Orchestra Brasil Project to encourage exports of suppliers to the furniture industry – promoted in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). Some US$ 3.5 million are expected to be generated in business in the international market for Brazilian manufacturers of inputs, accessories and technology.<\/p>\n

The business meetings will take place on July 12 and 13 in a booth especially set up for the Buyer’s Project. Twenty-four Brazilian companies will take part in the meetings with importers from eight countries: South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay and Peru.<\/p>\n

Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves supports the development of the woodworking industry  throughout its levels: starting with suppliers, encouraging exports through the Orchestra Brasil Project, and including design, by promoting the Salão Design Award and the Raiz Project for the internationalization of the service provided by Brazilian designers. Movelsul Brasil completes the overview that the association has on the woodworking industry. "The internationalization of the supply chain to the furniture industry and of the service of designers supports the positioning we want for Brazil in the international market regarding competitiveness and innovation," says the president of Sindmóveis, Edson Pelicioli.<\/p>\n

About the Orchestra Brasil Project<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Orchestra Brasil Project has been carried out since 2006 promoting the competitive inclusion of suppliers to the woodworking industry in the international market. To achieve this goal it promotes market research, missions to prospect markets, individual actions, Buyer’s Projects, Seller’s Projects and Image Projects, in addition to taking part in major world trade fairs.  The priority markets for the project are South Africa, Argentina, Bolivia,  Chile, Colombia, the United States, India, Mexico, Peru and the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n
