Inside and outside the International Furniture Show in Milan, the trends of the most disputed design week in the world have shown that the Brazilian design is well positioned internationally. Featuring 25 pieces developed by Brazilian designers, the participation of the Projeto Raiz in the Be Brasil organized by Apex-Brasil showed the evolution of the Brazilian style combined with cultural references.<\/p>\n
At the same time, the main concept within ISaloni was in tune with our designer products. The concern with ecological and sustainable materials present at the fair is also seen in the initiatives carried out by the Raiz Project, along with issues relating to innovation and identity. Innovation, by the way, appeared in Milan very much linked to the development of new materials and the concern to make them commercially feasible.<\/p>\n
The president of Sindmóveis, Edson Pelicioli, who visited iSaloni and Furiosalone to prospect the market, says that recycling and reusing waste materials was an approach adopted by several exhibitors. "This follows a circular economy concept, starting at the field of research to be applied by the industry," he points out.<\/p>\n
Another interesting point was the enhancement of designers from emerging countries in the Salone Satellite, with emphasis on works from Africa and Latin America. Here, new opportunities are offered to the Raiz Project, which strengthens the international positioning of Brazilian designers, highlighting creativity, innovation and growth potential in the foreign market.
