Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves will launch on Thursday, Oct 26, an unprecedented and valuable initiative to strengthen the synergy between the furniture industry and the current main national players in the retail trade. At a breakfast offered to its exhibitors, the fair's management will present a project designed especially for the next show, challenging manufacturing companies to develop products signed by designers for the national retail trade, which will be launched at Movelsul Brasil 2018, from March 12 – 15, in Bento Gonçalves (RS).<\/p>\n

To meet the ideal demand for innovation, product type and sales appeal that retailers expect for the next season, Sindmóveis team conducted a qualitative research surveying a select and relevant group of shopkeepers. The compilation of this information should support the industry's investments in new products for the coming year. The challenge that Movelsul Brasil presents is the adjustment of suppliers to the needs of retailers, with the support of designers in the development of these products.<\/p>\n

According to the president of Sindmóveis, Edson Pelicioli, the fair takes on a project that will support the launches of the furniture industry based on criteria that the retail trade considers to be essential for consumers. Issues such as specific markets, sales channels and the call for innovation were key topics in the survey conducted by the association. "Movelsul Brasil is a consolidated fair and therefore has a strong commitment to the sustainable development of the furniture industry. Initiatives that improve knowledge and networking complement the exhibition of furniture companies, expanding their business opportunities at the fair,” points out the president.<\/p>\n

For the event, Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves has also invited a group of Brazilian designers who works in the furniture market – offering, promptly, the opportunity of partnerships to the companies. This will be one of the concurrent projects of Movelsul Brasil 2018, in addition to the business meetings with international buyers and the Salão Design Award show, the largest product design award in Latin America, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2018.<\/p>\n

Movelsul Brasil 2018, a furniture fair for shopkeepers and importers, will be held from March 12 – 15, 2018, Monday to Thursday, at Parque de Eventos in Bento Gonçalves (RS). Two hundred exhibitors are expected to show furniture for offices, kitchens, bedrooms, laundry rooms, bathrooms, gardens, dining and living rooms, in addition to rugs, upholstery and mattresses.<\/p>\n
