Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves is counting down to the second HIGH DESIGN – Home & Office Expo, the fair that is continuing Casa Brasil in São Paulo. Lasting for three days, the show will exhibit high-end furniture and accessories, design studios, conferences, and a show of the 20th Salão Design Award winners. High Design, the DW! São Paulo Design Weekend anchor event, will be held from August 8 – 10, positioning itself as a multimedia business and content platform that aims to provide unique, unprecedented and exclusive live experiences to visitors.<\/p>\n
In 2017, High Design is 30% larger, more dynamic and segmented. One of its highlights is the partnership with RAL Estratégia for the organization and commercialization of the spaces of its innovative area focused on the corporate segment: the Office Connection. In addition, this second edition of the fair will hold business meetings between design studios and foreign guests, focusing on the promotion of exports organized by Sindmóveis and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) through the Raiz Project and the internationalization of the service provided by Brazilian designers.<\/p>\n
By organizing these meetings, the Raiz Project offers Brazilian companies the first contact for future sales to the international market. The initiative will take place on Aug 8 and 9, in the morning, at the space reserved for the project at the fair. Nine international buyers will be invited for short business meetings with member studios of the Raiz Project and High Design exhibitors.<\/p>\n
HIGH DESIGN – Home & Office Expo expands the business potential of the high-end décor industry by bringing together some of the leading brands from different segments (high-end furniture, customized modular furniture and complements, design furniture and objects, kitchens, surfaces, offices, light design and automation), totaling a 15,000 m² area. The fair attracts thousands of architects, interior designers, builders, high-end shopkeepers, international buyers and investors from all over the country to experience everything the event provides: business, networking, content and connections.<\/p>\n
The concurrent events, one of the highlights of HIGH DESIGN – Home & Office Expo last year, have already been confirmed thus providing a more complete and effective experience to visitors:<\/p>\n
– DW! São Paulo Design Weekend:<\/strong> The sixth edition of the largest urban festival in Latin America aims to promote the culture of design. The DW! takes place from August 9 to 13 and mobilizes the entire productive chain to think and discuss, launch collections, carry out interactive interventions, leave a legacy to the city and bring design closer to people.<\/p>\n – National Conference of Interior Designers – CONAD<\/strong>: A traditional event organized by the Brazilian Association of Interior Designers (ABD) since 1996, it will be held for the first time in consecutive years. Prior to HIGH DESIGN, the conference took place every two years.<\/p>\n – 8th GreenBuilding Brazil – International Conference and Expo<\/strong><\/strong>: Just like last year, Latin America's main sustainable construction event will be held concurrently in an exhibition area at High Design. Speakers at the event include Rick Fedrizzi, CEO of the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), who will address various aspects of green building in his lecture.<\/p>\n
