Sindmóveis, through the Raiz Project aimed at the international promotion of the  Brazilian designers’ services, had its greatest participation in the Milan design week in the last five years. With the support of Apex-Brasil, the association subsidized the exhibition of 13 designers in the Be Brasil show, one of the concurrent events of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile. More than 110,000 people visited the show at the University of Milan. Thus, Sindmóveis contributes to the positioning of Brazilian furniture abroad.<\/p>\n

This was Sindmóveis' fifth participation in Milan, supporting the Brazilian industry and design abroad. The initiative also represents the beginning of the Movelsul Brasil 2018 international promotional campaign, because, in addition to the product show, the managers of Sindmóveis held strategic meetings with representatives of the Brazilian consulate and embassy in Italy. "Our broad participation in Milan represented Brazil very well at Fuorisalone. Every designer who exhibits in a fair like iSaloni and positions the Brazilian furniture abroad for its quality is directly benefiting the national industry ", points out the manager of Sindmóveis, Denise Valduga<\/p>\n

The pieces of the Raiz Project showed in Milan will be exhibited at the Brazilian Embassy in Rome as of June 8. Set up by the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in partnership with Apex-Brasil, the Raiz Project aims to promote internationally the Brazilian furniture designers and their work, influenced by all the culture that surrounds it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
