Sindmóveis will take part in the Las Vegas Market show until January 28 in an institutional booth to promote Movelsul and attract importers to the Buyer’s Project that will be held during the fair in Bento Gonçalves. The booth is furnished with products manufactured by Artefama, an exhibitor at Movelsul. The international calendar to promote Movelsul Brasil includes the participation in Expomueble Invierno, Feb 17-20 in Guadalajara, Mexico.<\/p>\n
The Movelsul Brasil Buyer’s Project has been carried out since 2000, organizing business meetings between Brazilian companies and importers from various countries, with the support of Apex-Brasil. In 2014, there were more than 600 meetings, resulting in 35 million dollars in business. This year, 30 importers were invited to negotiate not only with the exhibiting companies, but also with the members of the Brazilian Furniture, a project to boost exports.<\/p>\n
The Director of International Affairs of Sindmóveis, Luiz César Girardi, points out that the United States is the world's largest furniture market and main market for Brazilian exports, which grew in dollars by 11.5% in 2015. Exports to the US are expected to be further boosted due to the appreciation of the dollar against the real. “Las Vegas Market is currently the largest fair in the United States for furniture and a major channel to attract importers to Movelsul. Importers from this market have already confirmed their participation in the Buyer’s Project," he says.<\/p>\n
