Vinicius Benini will be the new president of Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves

The director of Pozza S/A, Vinicius Benini, will be the next president of the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) in the 2019/2020 biennium. The 18th Board of Directors of the association – including directors, supervisory and advisory councils and representative delegates – was elected by acclamation of its associates last Monday, Nov 19. Vinicius Benini will take office on January 1, replacing executive Edson Pelicioli, Ideas & Conceitos. In the current term of office, Vinicius was its vice president and commercial director.

Aged 31, Vinicius Benini will be the youngest president in the history of Sindmóveis. A graduate in International Trade with an MBA in Marketing focused on sales (FGV), he is starting his term working to strengthen relations with Sindmóveis members and planning Movelsul Brasil 2020, whose marketing campaign will be officially launched in March next year. "It is important, at a time when the furniture industry is working for the resumption of its performance, that Sindmóveis is increasingly close to local companies, creating growth mechanisms for member companies of different sizes," he says.

Internationalization is still high on the agenda of the plans of Sindmóveis, providing studies of commercial intelligence, training in the area and commercial promotion in target markets of the furniture industry. In addition, the period led by entrepreneur Vinicius Benini will also continue to foster design as a tool for competitiveness of the companies.

Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves has been working since 1977, boosting the growth of the woodworking industry through institutional representation, integrative initiatives, international promotion, support programs for companies and professionals, promotion of design and development of sales channels. The inauguration ceremony of the new board of directors of the association will take place in January.
